The Quartet is one of themajor string quartets to have emerged from the great school of Czech playing in recent years. Formed in 1985, the Quartet has gained an outstanding reputation for the interpretation of the classical, romantic and modern masterpieces of the string quartet repertoire.

They have developed an impressive international career, including visits to Europe, the Far East, United States, Australia and New Zealand. They have been prize-winners inmany international competitions and produced over twenty CDs. They work regularly with the CAVATINA Chamber Music Trust, giving concerts to help develop a love of chamber music amongst young people.
